One of this year's Bitef side programs is a plenary meeting of IETM - International network for contemporary performing arts.

The four-day event that ends tomorrow is attended by some 400 guests from all around the world. They were presented with a rich program that consisted of many art events, conversations, and discussions, as well as field trips, workshops, pitchings, and networking.

The participants were presented with a local showcase, that enabled them to see several Belgrade shows and get a glimpse of the current repertoire (The Stolen Prince and the Lost Princess, Boy With a Suitcase, Cement Belgrade, Right You Are, If You Think So, A Lullaby for Aleksija Rajčić and Miss Julie).

But prior to all these events, a field trip to Novi Sad was arranged for more than 30 first-comers on September 28th, co-organized by Novi Sad 2022 - European Capital of Culture. During the outing, participants had a chance to meet independent art scene as well as state theatrical production of the city.

They visited SCCNS Fabrika (The Factory), watched two performances: Legacy, by EYEnet 2.0 youth theatre and Neoplanta, a production of Újvidéki Színház and directed by András Urbán, met the Shock Cooperative and had a lunch break in Gusan brewery...
